Rules and terms

By ordering a video from Uncanny Karaoke you agree to these rules. They keep the videos fun and keep everyone out of trouble.

What you're getting

• A short parody video: a public figure's real speech footage, cut into tiny pieces and rearranged so they appear to sing or say a song. It's a joke, and it should always be treated as one.
• Every video is put together and checked by a person before it's sent. Some ideas just don't work (not enough footage, a song that won't fit). If yours can't be made, you get a full refund.
• You'll get a private link to watch and download your video, normally within the time shown when you ordered. If it's late, you can ask for a full refund.

Who can be in a video

• Public figures only: well-known people who speak in public as part of their role, such as politicians, presenters and famous speakers.
• No private individuals, and nobody under 18.

What's not allowed

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeting anyone with hate.
• Sexual or sexually suggestive content of any kind.
• Defamation: anything meant to make people believe something false and damaging about a real person.
• Impersonation for fraud or to mislead, including fake endorsements, fake statements, scams, election or voting misinformation, or presenting the video as real footage.
• Using the video in ads, to sell something, or for any other commercial purpose.

I can refuse any order, at any time, for any reason, and refund it in full. If an order breaks these rules after it's made, I may take the video down and won't make more for that customer.

Using your video

• It's for personal, non-commercial fun. If you share it, keep it clear that it's a parody, and don't edit it to make it look real.
• The songs and the original footage belong to their owners. Your video is a transformative parody; it doesn't give you any rights to the song or the footage.
• Your video is only posted on my channels if you ticked the box saying so when you ordered.

Payment and privacy

• Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to them and never reach me.
• Your name, email and order details are only used to make and deliver your video and to contact you about it. They're never sold or shared.
• Refunds go back to the card you paid with and can take a few days to show.
